Hey guys, i saw this from "Deep water innovations", its a bubble ring that fits 5 gallon buckets, wondering if anyone has tried these before, i tried some cheap wal-mart flexible bubble wall stuff but they got clogged up and one even fucking floated....

you can find more information here

Spend a few dollars more and get the grey aluminum silicate stones. Smaller bubbles and i have used mine for years now.

does it even matter? as long as there is air in the water, I don't think the plants care at all what type of bubble

From a DO perspective, it doesn't matter... But there may be other benefits to agitating the roots with bubbles. You wouldn't want a big anaerobic dying mass of roots in the middle of your rootball. Just a guess though... I don't know. Standard air stones have always been fine for me.
