I've used tents that didn't last 2 grows, the main zipper was frayed to hell......also had tents with lots of pinholes in them/
I've seen tents without a viewing window, some tents have poles that can hold some weight.
There are differences that matter a lot, to me and others.

The very thickness and density of the material used even helps.
I'm aware of the difference between cheap tents and more expensive tents... You didn't answer my question though, you said I needed a quality tent to grow quality flowers, but nothing you mentioned is going to change flower quality. Longevity of the tent sure, but for as long as it lasts I mentain that the buds grown in cheap tents are exactly the same as if the only change to the grow was a top notch tent. All my tents have seen way more than two grows and I haven't had any issues with zippers or material ripping or anything.

Less likely to herm if no light leaks.......that IS better bud........
I use just feminized seed
my HydroCrunch tent had all bad features: chintzy zipper, light leaks galore, crummy reflective mylar

The Zazzy I bought was cheap and all of the problems above do not exist. I think I got lucky, usually cheap price = cheap quality

Cheap tents don't leak any significant light. And your dumb if you think pinholes matter. We shoot for totally darkness, but have you been outside at night bro? It's not that dark. Pinhole leaks in tents do not cause herm, major stresses or genetic predisposition cause herm.

Ok, noob.....u just want to argue.

Stress is no doubt the major factor aside from genetics. But leaked light can also stress a plant in darkness. If you try to argue that point join my ignore list.. you will be #4

No bro, you're telling people to waste money and can't defend your point. If anybody reads this because they are noobs tent shopping I don't want them to feel like they need to spend more than the minimum for a tent.

Reading comprehension, it's a thing. You seem to lack this. Congrats, #4 on my list. I never hung out with assholes or white trash.

Please go and fuck yourself.

Light leaks sure, pinhole leaks in a tent, naaa. I've seen super anal people using black sealant on all the seams, it's dumb, the tiny bit of light that leaks through pinholes makes no difference. It's still way darker than outside at night.

yea but if u have a room with a window and those little light leaks cause herming. and their are strains that if they have any light they herm like cookies chems etc. will almost always herm the plant

Pin hole light leaks dont cause plants to hermie, thats genetics. Put Thai in anything or anywhere for eg and its a good chance it will hermie.

The longer i grow the less i worry about light leaks.
My last tent was a cheap Gro cell. Plastic corners lots of pin holes, shit zippers etc. Still lasted three years and lots of harvests. I had to be gentle with it though and was showing its age. If starting out with a ltd budget then throw the cash at lights and extraction fans and update the tent at a latter date.

I use a 4x4 VivoSun, and I have no complaints. Strong material, good zippers, lots of double cinched openings for vents and power cords, metal corner connectors and the cross pieces can carry the heaviest of lights, fans and filters. Has a heavy duty floor tray and if there are light leaks, I can’t find them. May be considered junk by some, but I don’t know what more you could ask for at its price point.

Vivosun is paying review sites for favorable reviews, many companies do this. Avoid Vivosun, HydroCrunch.....both are shit
I have two Vivosun tents. I'm completely satisfied. The zipper is fine and no light leaks. Plus it costs a third of what the Gorilla costs. The Gorilla is a very well constructed tent but it won't make my plants grow any better than the Vivosun. I've had my Vivosun for about three years. The zipper is still like new. It has a viewing window, plenty of vents on the bottom sides and top. Three bars across the top that can hold a 6" fan, 6" carbon filter, sealed hood, and still be 50 lbs below the maximum rated weight. Is the Gorilla a better constructed and sturdy tent? I'm sure it is but I don't need a stronger tent for what I'm doing. :peace:

My own brother uses a Vivosun, its shit compared to the Zazzy. The Zazzy is even cheaper then a Vivo. Yet all review sites rate the Vivosun #1, lol. They are PAYING review sites. VivoSun is similar to MarsHydro quality. Garbage.

I've had HydroCrunch tents, they were shit.

If you research, (theres a lot more cannabis sites then this one)......Any light during the darkness cycle can cause herming. Usually its cross contaminated pollination ( bad genetics) or breeding conditions not close to sterile. It also can be ppl stressing their plants out. Topping 4 or 5 times, excessive shock to the plant. Transplanting too often or growers that never researched to begin with, trying to grow.

Moderators don't moderate at this particular site, so instead of debates you get lower IQ individuals or white trash name calling, anybody disagreeing with their POV. It gets old.

These people that call others names because they don't agree with an opinion would NOT talk like that to me if they were in front of me. So why do it here? That's a punk.

Just because anybody COULD rob a bank or commit a murder doesn't mean they SHOULD.

Gorilla is the BEST 4 x 4. But the Gorilla LITE probably isn't. The Zazzy is good bang for the buck, imo. Superior to the Vivo in every way.

Personally I like how RIO is how the internet used to be, just a little bit toxic, I find it more enjoyable than sterile academic discussion.

If your not going to read anything anyone else says and continue to argue your incorrect argument I'm going to tell you that's fucking dumb. Several people posted direct personal experience about pinholes but you still felt the need to write and edit two long stupid whiny posts disregarding that and repeating your crazy old wives tale.

Maybe try reading and you could argue that your zazzy thing I've never heard of is a better value than a vivosun. But I've never heard of it and Amazon won't just show up with it tomorrow. And if your feeling lazy and buy it now is the path of least resistance it doesn't fucking matter, a tents a tent, it'll be fine.
