Atomizer - whats their value???

I wanted to see if there was any interest in aero gardeners actually using an atomizer vs the pump and spray method and if so, what would be a good price for your typical set up? I believe I can make a true atomizer for much cheaper then a commercial set up, but I don't want to invest the time or effort unless there is any real interest. Second, how much sound is tollerable?
