Anyone grow indoors in big pots like 50 gallon drip with coco/tupur?

This would be in a good sized room with ventilation and CO 2. LEDs like QB boards and drip system. 10 foot plus ceiling with probably 12 plants in legal state.

How many 1000 watt HPS eqivalent lights per plant or plants per light? Two plants per lights?

What should those 12 plants yield per plant? I know it is strain dependent.

Did something similar years ago seeing what I could do with limited plants. Did a trial run 2 plants veged 2 months in 20 gal pots. Put under a 4x8 trellis. Under 2k de above and surrounded by 6 315 cmh for side light. Harvested just over 6.5 usable lbs. Wasnt efficient power or time wise. Probably close to the max you can do plant/canopy wise. LEDs will help with the power side but your still looking around 4-5 months for a harvest.

You might wanna take a peek at the grow linked in my signature. Get some ideas on how to get a lot off 12 plants indoors. With your ceilings you could go a little bigger and get even more of what I call "side canopy"

Some things to take note of in my grow

The use of strong trellis rigs, I used 1/2" galvanized pipe. Hortitrellis or similar, not that cheapo string crap.

Supplemental side lighting, no point growing big plants indoors unless you light the sides. So space the plants out and light the sides, you can hang bare vertical bulbs, use vertical batwings, LED, whatever works to light that "side canopy"

Separate veg area. Veg all the plants for most of their veg time under WAY less lighting and have plants ready to go into flowering rooms after harvest and clean up. I veg my plants for a 20kW grow under 2kW of CMH. They only veg a week or two usually after being moved.
