SEriously tho so no one believes in flushing or what? Anytime i talk to people locally there always flushin. Is there a difference in thc or cbd or would flushing just halt plant growth ? Does flavor simply come down to a good cure aside from genetics of course? I tried all kinds of shit and i cant really tell after a long cure my buds are always smooth smoke

Lol good one. I should of told u that after you said it ten times ago. Im over here laughing. As long as your bud smokes good im not gonna hate. If people dont flush but they add nutes throughout the plants life wouldnt adding a boost of nutrient at the end possably help. You kno like do the complete opposite of a flush or does that seem dumb.

No not a boost of ferts, but they still need some nutrition to help them complete their life cycle. Cutting off the fertilizers at this time aka flushing is not helping them do this.

Then I have to ask you a question, Have you ever wondered how you flush water only super soil? It has everything in it already, you cant flush those amendments out. And you're already using water only. Think about that for a second.

Good info everyone. So gary i grow in a ebb n flow bucket system. Would you suggest continuing the regular feeding chart until the end without cuttin back on nutes at all? Im simply asking hamless questions that id like to know more about. Ive finished about 6 or 7 nice grows and flushing isnt something ive really talkd about. Some people insist and others hate the idea. Just asking because im not in soil. Not a big fan of the cleanup or even dirt in general but thats another topic

ALso i will say when i first started about 9 years ago i build a flood and drain table no flush and it was my best grow by far but i didnt relate the two to be honest. Just pondering the idea that it could of been the reason

You can cut back on the fertilizers on the last week, but no need to flush. I like to keep mine green and healthy till the end.

This is most likely because the plants were allowed to fully ripen up the proper way.

Keep them green, happy, and healthy and they can fully express their genetic potential.

I Wanted a scientific answer but no one smart seems to give me one. sorry you can not provide. I guess ill be leaving this thread because of people like you
I'm not about to type a small paper length report, complete with all the science you wouldn't understand by the actual terminology about plant biology....

Like I said (and now I'm doing this for you too) Read this - https://www.rollitup.org/t/the-truth-about-flushing.409622/

Hell yea great answers people lol as for the guy who believes i missed the original point.. I was simply asking for an educated answer from someone whos not a complete retard. perhaps even a scientific one. I wasnt asking about coolaid or diamonds. Im not really sure what caused you to drift so far off topic. Id like to hear more from educated people. Please and thanks everyone
Why not flush the last few days what's the harm in that

This thread made my day Haha flush deezzz nuts haha. So in HYDRO with full synthetic nutes when running a high ppm program(1900-2300),and yes that's high af but can be done, with first feed on a 21 feed weekly cycle the first initial soaks will be more than enough to supply them with everything they need thus your res ex. initially at 100gal is now 70gal and then you can add more water that's the only time I'd ever consider anything I do flushing.....
WIth that said people who use the term flush generally are gana be using pgrs and being told that it scientifically makes their plants safe to smoke hahahaha. Flush Flush Fail hahaha
