Aeroponic cloner problems.

I have a couple of questions about running one.

I had it outside in direct sun, and power went out, first day. Have moved it to shade. After about 5 days, most of the smaller cuttings stalks liquified. Is that from frying them, or is it a sign of another problem?

After they fried, I added some rooting hormone, technaflora root 66, technaflora thrive alive, and little miracle grow (1/10th normal amount). Have never used organics before and the PH goes crazy high. I PH adjust the water to 5.5 and it goes up to 8.4, and takes lots of white vinegar to lower. My other setup I ph adjust to 5.5, add miracle grow, calcium nitrate, and MagCal, and it actually goes down a a tenth of a point. Do organics have that characteristic?

The technaflora products had crap in them that clogs my spray heads. Will try some fine screen around the pump.

Does anyone have any info on how many gallon per hour pump, you need to run a certain number of spray heads? I am using a 360 GPH for 18 heads.

I just had the same problem again, after running straight water in it for 2 days. I have never had a problem with chemical fertilizers, screwing up PH.

you dont need any miracle gro in your cloner. also you may have better luck inside, under fluorescents. they dont want very bright light as there rooting as they are trying to produce roots and you dont want to much vegetative growth as there doing this,it uses up their stored food. also i dont know where you are but im in northern continental usa and its like 95 degrees outside and that has to be stressful to them. they really prefer a water temperature of around 68 degrees as colder water holds a lot more disolved oxygen, which in adition to faster rooting times helps with root rot.

also you mention that you stalks are liquifed, im not sure what you mean by that, but if they are covered in a slimmy substance thats probably bacteria.

First off why do you have it outside? Clones get bacteria very easy. And all you need is a rooting gel and plain water in the cloner. Sterilize the cloner befor anymore attempts.

This site is infected with hackers!!!! Run Malwarebytes from cnet.org. Found 15 trojan/rootkits. They tried to rerach UAE, NewDelhi, Netherlands, Turkey, Leningrad. Then got messages about addresses in Herndon VA, home of FBI, trying to get out of pc. TDSSKILLER,from cnet got rid of that.
