600w HPS BTU Output?

Hoping someone can help me figure this out. I am looking to put a new water cooled system into my grow room using a chiller, and hydro innovations ice box.

As the title says, I am trying to find out how many BTU's an hour a 600w HPS light puts out. I was told that a 600 puts out something around 4k btu's an hour...but all my research says it should be more around the lines of 2k/hr?

You can see where I got these figures here:

http://www.unitconversion.org/power/watts-to-btus-th--per-hour-conversion.html

Anyway, does anybody know for sure how many BTU's a 600w kicks out? I just want to be sure here.

I have a 1/4 HP chiller that is rated for 3k BTU's, so I am really hoping that I was misinformed in the first place (about the 4k btu's). If my chiller can pull 1k BTU's more an hour than my light produces, I should be fine right?

Bumped...again.

Seriously, no one has any idea on this one? I've seen guys break down lux, lumens, EC, pH, Co2, and just about everything else to a damn science on here. Yet no one knows how many BTU's are produced by their lights? I find that hard to believe, since it would be a nice piece of info for keeping your room cool...and I have met some extremely smart growers on here. ;)

3.414BTUs per 1 watt
That's what I thought. So 3.414x600 = 2,048.4

I would think that since my chiller pulls about 952 more btu's an hour than my light puts out, I should be sitting about right.

Thanks for the confirmation man. +Rep
