Hello all. In the last 3 weeks I've germinated 2 groups of 5 seeds. I'm trying for 2 or 3 girls for this, my first Hydro grow. The first group all sprouted in paper towels and were put into 1.5" rockwool starter cubes. One seed popped out and two others got to the surface. I didnt put them under light right away to wait for the others to pop. In a couple days they were gone. The second ones also got to the surface and died. These I put into light when I saw the seed caps breaking the surface. WTF am I doing wrong? I've started loads of plants from seed in soil and never had this happen. They were in rockwool under a dome and kept slightly warm on my DVR box til put in the cab. My cab is around 77 degrees with low humidity, so I kept them in the dome and was going to put them in my hydro system after a few days. The humidity in the cab is low because I have not filled the rez yet so that will go up to normal then. So whats up with these cubes? Am I doing something wrong? I soaked them in 6.5 ph water and shook out the excess before putting in my seeds. No nutes at all in the first batch and I put a tiny drop of rooting gel on the seeds when they were in the paper towel with the second group. Please help if you can. Like I said, I hope the 3rd times the charm!
