So I've been a heavy smoker for the last 7+ years, using every opportuninty to smoke. Wake and bake before work, smoke again at the 10 o'clock break, again at lunch and then free for all after work. The last 3 years I've been off work so it's been even heavier. Well a few months ago, the wife convinced me that we need a vacation, I was hoping it would be somewhere that's weed friendly but to no avail. We booked our flights to Bali and my anxiety went through the roof. How can I go for 3 weeks without smoking??
I told myself that I'll slowly lower my daily intake until we leave.....well needless to say that didn't happen. We left Vancouver on Sept 8th and I haven't smoked since. I'm surprised at how normal I feel, I didn't go through any sort of withdrawals, major cravings or meltdowns.
That being said I'll be back home in less than 48hrs and I can't wait to get back on the horse. I'm sure that first joint will be incredible, and I'll savor every second of it.
