i'm on week 5 of my first AG deluxe bagseed grow. i planted seeds in the AG 2 hours after i got it without any other prep. i know that was stupid but fun, they sprouted the next day!!! i started with 4 but pulled 2, added 7in. airstone, 2 23watt cfls all on week 4. week 5 added diy yeast in a bottle with tube co2 setup. this is a SMALL closet grow. i still need to set up some sort of air system and seal it all up in a diy growtent. the plants are stressed and burned both from nutes and lights, i've pruned it a lot both by removing dead leaves and by accident. i'm making a lot of mistakes but learning as i go. even if these 2 die tomorrow (there is a fair chance they might) i'll have the equip and know how to start new.

i think if your from oakland you should just go to the dispensary near you and pick up some clones. :peace:

I made the over fertilizing mistake my first time too. I read that no nutes are betting than too many. So this time I went nute-free, the result (same strain) was a world of difference. I know I'm not an expert, but my advice would be to forget the feed for now and concentrate on how to actually grow the plants. There's a lot to learn at once. Take it slow, don't overwhelm yourself, and after you get the hang of just growing it, then worry about the fertilizers.

What's your tent made from? You def gotta figure out a way to vent/circulate air. Between my grow closet, veg closet, drying closet, and my bedroom (all conveniently located in one room) I have 4 fans and 2 exhausts. Even with my A/C running on 74f all day, that room/closets still run about 82-84f.

But it's good you got rid of the other 2 plants for a couple reasons. 1) because plants create heat 2) maybe it's just me, but when I did my first grow, we (me and my ex) started off with about 10 plants... it was my ex's decision, I tried to dissuade him. Anyway, that was way to many for a first-timer. Everything went wrong. But you're right, you'll learn very quick from your mistakes.

Crap. Of course, if you're doing hydro you have to use nutrients, right? I'm a pot/soil grower, so I don't know anything about that. ::oops::

Should have just edited that.

Have you thought of using a cutting in the aerogarden? People use setups similar to the aerogarden all the time to make clones. Maybe somebody else with more experience could chime in here.
