one can lead a horse to water …

suggesting that Ukraine provoked Russia into aggression is dishonest and supports Russia’s blatantly and lethally autocratic actions. That is unequivocally fascistic. Face it; Roger is no pacifist. He is an enabler of autocracy, a definitive fascist behavior.
Its not Fascist at all its a contested viewpoint. He then says that Russia illegally invaded. He lives in a Democracy and has a right to say both of those things as will historians for hundreds of years to come.

Is Sir Bob Geldof antisemitic and a fascist for wearing a fascist uniform and playing a dictator even though he tries himself in the end?

Was the German court antisemitic and fascist when it found that the claims Israel and the Karens made had no substance?

Contested? No. It’s pretty plain.

The nice thing about democracy is that everyone has the right to be hopelessly and laughably wrong.

There's so many nice things in a democracy. A fair trial is one of them. Where evidence matters. He had his day in court and won.

Seems these Jewish people are antisemitic to for critizing Israel.:

"This month, 145 American Jewish leaders publicly distanced themselves from a member of the Israeli government, saying Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich was not welcome in the United States.

It was a rare public rebuke of a sitting Israeli minister that brought together individuals from across the Jewish-American political spectrum. Smotrich “has long expressed views that are abhorrent to the vast majority of American Jews, from anti-Arab racism, to virulent homophobia, to a full-throated embrace of Jewish supremacy,” they said in a statement."

Israel is not new, it existed in that area long ago.
map c.830BCE......
View attachment 5299632
An area of so many wars and numerous dead. Where the Jews crucified Jesus, a Jewish Palestinian. About time they stopped doing that i recon. You notice Jerusalem is in Palestine? That areas map would of changed so many times, like most of Europe.
Aussies corpses lie amongst so many nationalities.

A famous Australian battle happened at Beersheba by our Light horse in WW1. My grandfather on my mums side fought in it.

Importance of Beersheba
Beersheba was a heavily fortified town 43 kilometres from the Turkish bastion of Gaza. It anchored the right end of a defensive line that stretched from Gaza on the Mediterranean coast.

The first two frontal attacks on Gaza, in March and April 1917, failed. The British Army re-organised before trying again. The capture of Beersheba would break the Gaza—Beersheba line and enable the British, Australian and New Zealand forces to outflank Gaza.

British attack on Beersheba
The British 20 Corps launched an attack on Beersheba at dawn on 31 October 1917.

By late afternoon the corps had made little headway toward the town and its vital wells. Lieutenant General Sir Harry Chauvel, commanding the Desert Mounted Corps, ordered the 4th Light Horse Brigade forward to attempt to secure the position.

Australian Light Horse charge
Brigadier General William Grant responded by ordering light horsemen of the 4th and 12th Regiments to charge at the unwired Turkish trenches. The light horsemen did not carry swords or lances, so they held their bayonets in their hands and used them as "swords".

The momentum of the surprise attack carried them through the Turkish defences.

Fall of Beersheba
The light horsemen took less than an hour to overrun the Turkish trenches and enter Beersheba.

Thirty-eight Turkish and German officers and about 700 other ranks were taken prisoner, and a supply of water was secured.

The Australians suffered 67 casualties. Two officers and 29 other ranks were killed, and 8 officers and 28 other ranks wounded.

The fall of Beersheba opened the way to outflank the Gaza—Beersheba Line. On 6 November, after severe fighting, Turkish forces began to withdraw from Gaza further into Palestine.

Reminds me of a dutch show host trying to stick up for his famous friend who made several blatant racist remarks “I cannot see inside him but I know him well and I don’t think he ‘is’ a racist in his heart”.

As if it’s a genetic trait. Black Peet discussion made that distinction so clear, people were like but it’s tradition, I have nothing against black people, I am not racist. Often leading to heated discussions over just the last part while that isn’t the real issue. The behavior is racist, the caricature is, and that’s really not up for debate, it just has to stop.

Roger Waters responding to rabbi in 2013:
”It is also extremely insulting to me personally in that you accuse me of being ‘Anti Semitic’, ‘A Jew Hater’ and ‘Nazi Sympathizer’”

It’s not about “being”, it’s how you behave in deeds and words. Especially with antisemitic tropes people often don’t even know or understand the history and how that contributed to millions of jews getting killed. Antisemitism works like a commercial, repeat it often enough and people will believe it to at least an extend on a subconscious level.

Perhaps for the sake of discussion some effort should be made to avoid assigning labels to a person rather than their behavior and messages. Preemptively avoid the standard defense.

Its fair enough to. I'm sure it is insulting to be accused of something your not. Especially when his dad was killed by Nazis.
Its nice the Court agreed with him and 13 pages and your still trying to cancel- with no proof of your claims.

You should accept the courts decision. His body of work and the actors that have played the roles, his life's actions and his own words.

Is Biden antisemitic and are some American Jews?
Off cause not. Like Waters and lots of the worlds population they are anti Israel due to their far right wing actions.

The government of Benjamin Netanyahu has become the target of near-regular criticism by the Biden administration. In its latest move, the US State Department on Tuesday summoned Israeli Ambassador Michael Herzog after Israel’s parliament passed legislation that allows Jewish settlements to be rebuilt in parts of the occupied West Bank. It was the first summoning of an Israeli ambassador in the US in over a decade.

“The reality… is that the interests of American Jews and Israel have been diverging for many years, but it’s been papered over,” Thomas Friedman wrote in the New York Times (NYT) this month. He called on the community to shun Netanyahu, citing the prime minister’s deployment of the “Trumpist playbook” by courting ultranationalist and ultrareligious parties.

American Jews recognize that the current Israeli government represents “a deeper struggle” between competing visions of whether the country wants to be a liberal democracy that is willing to make peace with the Palestinians or an “authoritarian, illiberal and ultra-nationalist” nation, said Logan Bayroff, vice president of communications at J Street, a left-leaning pro-Israel lobby group.

how blind do you have to be to not see that they represent the same fucking thing?
You do realise that Sir Bob Geldof (the guy in the picture and who plays Pinkie) is Jewish right?

They represent a symbol of fascism. Not one type but all types. Its not a Nazi SS symbol. Its two crossed hammers representing a symbol of Fascism. All symbols of fascism.

You should get stoned and watch the movie- with the sound turned up and the lights turned off. It's written by a man who grew up in a country decimated by the Nazis, his dad was killed fighting Nazis.
Enjoy:
