In about 5 hours my dreams may come true, The Grifter In Chief in the slammer awaiting trial for espionage and sundry other crimes. No Home Detention, no running off to Russia, nothing but crapping his pants w/o a cellphone to spread his lies!
No.
Sorry. Really.
they won't lock him up, way too much shit to deal with, and he hasn't really given them a reason to, yet.
apparently he has not talked about what he was warned to not talk about, and they can't make the fucker shut up otherwise.
They cannot allow anything to seem like it is actually politically motivated, so they will have to take impartiality to an extreme, so they won't do ANYTHING to compromise the case against him.

Really would be funny if he could not find a lawyer at any price. We could only dream.
Is that a dream? or a nightmare? I am unaware of what happens if he can't find a lawyer...
They can't possibly expect saddling him with a public defender to fly. Even trump isn't a big enough fool to represent himself.
Do things go on hold indefinitely till he can secure representation? Because FUCK THAT.
Do the proceeding go on as scheduled, whether he has a lawyer or not? THAT would be a dream, watching trump try to mount a coherent legal defense...

Two attorneys file paperwork to represent Trump ahead of appearance
Attorneys Chris Kise and Todd Blanche filed paperwork on Tuesday morning to represent former President Trump as he begins his defense in the case.

Two other attorneys who had represented Trump in the case departed his legal team hours after he was indicted, and the former president named Blanche to head up his defense instead.

But Blanche, who is based in New York, was not admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida, where Trump’s classified document case is taking place.

So Blanche could not formally represent Trump without a local attorney co-signing a motion for him to be admitted in the case.

Trump’s team on Monday was reportedly scrambling to find a Florida lawyer to join his defense team.

But for now, at least, they appear to have settled on leveraging Kise, Florida's former solicitor general who Trump hired last summer.

You would think being a billionaire and not having lawyers throwing themselves at you for a chance at the gig means that you fucked up big time in your life, but Trump probably already has come up with an excuse that has nothing to do with him being the cause.

… Even trump isn't a big enough fool to represent himself.
I think he just might be. He is utterly full of himself. At some level I think he believes his own bs. He’s told the big lies so often, I doubt he is capable of seeing the line between real and fabricated.

That man representing himself would be one of the great trainwreck shitshows of the age. Perjury is foregone, and jail-grade contempt on day 1 is likely.

(add) not today; he still has Kise.
