Masterblend 10-30-20, told me to hold off on the cal and mag.
That's why it went wrong. No calcium magnesium.
I think Jack's full line up called for the same thing, but only for a week or two then resumed back to the 321 recipe.

First time I ever seen anything like this.
Just a list of macronutrients .
The nutrient calculator was found here on RIU, has been really helpful.. check it out

I know some folks who use masterblend and are artful with it. They make some of the sweetest terps I know of with it. They are using it in Coco though and they have been growing for 20 years. It's awesome product but the recipe with sides is a closely guarded secret in Coco and I don't know anyone running it in rdwc.

Being you're a bit new I would go with something tailor made for rdwc. I've been using Cultured Solutions for a long time. I love it. Growgen makes a similar line called drip for cheap or can't ever go wrong with GH. Point is get something made for hydro cannabis and follow the instructions. There are so many other variables you're going to need to learn in rdwc your nutes should be a constant right now. Right now I'm just now considering trying with masterblend. I would theorize it could be a cheap way to replace the other brands bud finishing components.

Your roots are good. Everything else looks good. It started out good but ran out of something at the end. As long as you pile rocks high enough you don't need to cover them with the foil IME.

We just setup this 24 site rdwc system. 6 x 820w Ion lights with a 1.5 hp Vevor chiller. Our first run. Super Boof x Pure Michigan.

What a waste of time. Next time will be a different story.
Vegetables are much easier.
Do you grow your veggies in DWC? Just pick up some soil and do it like veggies. I grow hydro because I have lab sciences in my education and I can't keep a regular plant alive just cannabis and orchids. Although last year with @shnkrmn literally living at my beck and call to try and help I did get 6 tomatoes but it was a herculean effort for me LOL

Go to soil or at least a soilless substrate like ProMix and your life will be so much easier. I started growing in rails and I moved to a soilless substrate (still hydro but with a little longer time buffer) in DWC and rails you have little buffer. Nutrient changes are instantaneous and you need to have a chemistry bent. So just go with the flow and pretend they are tomatoes :)

Rdwc, never had a issue, until I took some bad advice.
