The evidence was presented to a jury of Florida residents and they chose to indict him based on the evidence. What do Democrats have to do with that?

The case was randomly assigned to Cannon but the arraignment will now instead be handled by Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman — meaning Cannon will not be given the opportunity to give special treatment to the man who gave her her job when he's arraigned. That said, The Miami Herald reports that Cannon still has NOT been removed from the case entirely and will remain the lead judge outside of the arraignment. If true, this is an utterly unacceptable state of affairs. Cannon has a responsibility to recuse herself from this case entirely and if she fails to do so she must be removed through legal means. Democracy is at stake.
