Auto watering system.

I setup an auto watering system using Blumats kit and a RO float.

I tapped into a water line before the softener and have an inline carbon filter to remove chlorine and other stuff.

I put an RO float in a 3 gallon bucket.

Now I have to just find tune the system and make sure nothing leaks.

The 3 gallon bucket will automatically fill to the float level and the float will turn off the incoming water.

I didn't like the plastic line the Blumats came with so I used 1/4" ID silicone tubing. I'll just have to monitor the lines to make sure there is no algae growth in them.

Blumat makes some high-quality opaque red tubing, I think it's silicone as well.
You should avoid translucent tubing, it will get fouled with algae, although it won't cause any real harm.

That's why I said I was going to monitor the line for algae. If I get some I'll look for some black silicone tubing.

Blumat wants too much $$ for their silicone tubing.
