I just picked up PH up and down form General Hydroponics and the label only says to 'use sparingly'. What have you guys generally done when adjusting your ph? Tblsn at a time? Is there any rule of thumb?

i think 1 teaspoon per gallon to raise or lower one notch

I haven't used GH's but it all depends on the strength of the product, and the strength of the nute soup. You'll just have to experiment. And sparingly means that a little might make a big difference.
Here's an example: you add a ml and it goes down .2 of a point,
then you add another ml and it goes down .2 of a point,
then you add another ml and it goes down .2 of a point,
then you add another ml and it goes down .2 of a point,
and then the next ml makes it go down an entire point!
You just don't know til you try it.

i too use GH pH Up/Down and 1/4 teaspoon per gallon raises/lowers pH by 0.5.
