Speaking of the Black Afghani Rose/JahGoo plant, after losing half of the plant to bud rot and mold, I decided to see if I could reveg it and get another crop from it. It's is under 18/6 lighting. Here are some pictures of it. The first is after 3 weeks, and the last two were taken 4 weeks...

Unfortunately, I do not have any of those. My wife got these seeds from the head grower at a grow operation where she work a few years ago. They were from his personal stash. Most of what they grew was crossed with JahGoo. The farm got bought out by a corporation and they laid off everyone...

Well, I'm done for the season. It's crazy how fast the rot progresses. Chopped and did a course trim on the three remaining plants. Even with all the rot, I should get a fair amount. Our humidity controlled wine cellar doubles as a drying room.

This year and last year have been the worst for bud rot. It's so sad to have to trash what would be the best buds. I'm finding this time of year very stressful having the cannabis and our vineyard of 330 vines all coming due at the same time, each with their own perils. Worms and rot for the...

Wow, the wind is really ripping here tonight. It is going to put my covering to the test. Tomorrow morning I will either have three nice and dry plants, or a shredded mess of a cover and soaked plants. Keeping fingers crossed for the former.

We're getting soaked at our place, over 2" in the last 24 hours. So far my cover is holding up great. Our neighbor has not covered his plants. He has some pretty fat buds that I am sure are completely soaked. Hope you all are surviving the downpours.

I spent the day building a cover-up structure. I will be able to have three of my plants in it. I moved the fourth one inside to finish off under lights. Found some rot starting to set in on the one I brought inside. I also spent a few days working in our vineyard. With a mask on, it became...

Ash is still lightly falling at our place. We were without power for 24 hours and since we are on a well, was not able to water anything yesterday. Was almost ready to use water from the hot tub but the power finally came back this morning. This picture was taken at 10:30 yesterday morning.

I've been following along this year but have not posted much. Where my plants grow there is a lot of greenery that makes getting a good picture of the plants challenging. Anyway, they are coming along nicely, enjoying the good weather. This is the Black Afghani Rose x JahGoo that is the...

I'm a bit north of Eugene. This year I have Super Silver Haze, Gold Leaf, Blueberry CBD and Black Afgani Rose germinated. Hoping that it is a better growing year than last. Last year really sucked growing wise not only for the cannabis, but our vineyard took a 50% hit in yield.

Those are most likely hemp fields. There are hemp fields all around in my area. They are going through and cutting off just the buds and leaving the skeletal remains in the ground. The one's around us are growing Cherry Wine.

It's interesting that the 2 plants we had under cover have had more rot then the 2 hemp plants that we have out in the open. There was plenty of airflow in the covering. The undercover plants were Blue Kali and Old Time Indiana Bubblegum. They are both in the drying room. The hemp are Cherry...

We were at one of the local hemp fields yesterday. Massive amount of bud rot on almost all of the plants. I'm not sure if that field is a loss or if they are going to try to process it. The owner was busy and I was not able to ask him about it. They are growing it for CBD oil.

I am in the same boat here in the Southern Willamette Valley. I had to chop our one fat budded plant today as the bud rot was really setting in. We are still going to get a fair amount from it. I tried a sample bud last night and got quite high. Here is half of the plant after rot removal. I...

One of my plants is starting to get spots of bud rot. I seem to find new spots every time I go out to check. I am going to have to harvest it soon. On a good note, no bugs at the moment.

Here are a few new shots of my Blue Kali. I am getting a bit worried about bud rot as the buds are so thick. I have already found a couple small spots. We have a week of rain coming starting tomorrow. It is going to get covered tonight.

Thanks for the compliment on the plants. The one in the foreground I worry about the most as those buds are quite big and probably would be prone to rot if not careful. I had to put the cover over the plants again this morning as it started raining. I thought today was supposed to be sunny...

We ended up putting up our pop up canopy over the plants. That kept them dry. We have moved it off of the plants today to let the sun in and will either come up with something better or keep using that. Rain is supposed to come back on Sunday.

I went out yesterday to build a covering was never able to get anything that worked before it got dark. Needless to say the plants are quite soaked today. We finally did get a covering up this afternoon. We've been trying to shake some of the water off the plants to some degree of success. I...
