    Hydroponics pH range.

when you get to know your plants better you can start dialing in the pH for each stage. Veg and early flower likes a lower pH(5.6) while later flower likes higher pH(6.1)

Found a cheap & easy way to drain the water!!

I bought one years ago and used it once. Way too slow and it ties you down to it. Just use a cheap pump with a pick up tube. I can empty all but around 2qt in just a few mins from a 50gal res.

Harvest a Pound Every Three Weeks!

I feel I completely wasted money on the blue lab res monitor. Never trusted it and the handheld Milwaukee is much faster to respond

    weird EC problem...

If water level is dropping and ec stays the same you may have found the "sweet spot". Worry when water drops and ec rises. I worked for a long time and many harvests to find mine.

    Superstoner's new 3 rail, 50gal system, 36-40oz every 2 weeks.

Buckets get there own nutes. I run no more than 650ppm. 3-6 ounces each, depending on the strain

Electric cooler for keeping roots cold in DWC?

You are having a hard time with the math. I run 50gal res's. It's worked for years with no cleaning and no res temp control. No need to argue.

    Superstoner's new 3 rail, 50gal system, 36-40oz every 2 weeks.

DWC bucket. No temp control. And basically the stepchild in the room, I spend very little effort on the buckets. They just fill space.

In need of some help first time dwc

I understand what you are saying but plants like more of certain elements at different stages. By tailoring the pH to the stage it allows the plant to absorb more of what it needs when it needs it.

In need of some help first time dwc

Actually, 5.6 is the bottom of the range and better for veg and early flower.

Tap water. Same cycle. It is aerated by the spraying. I haven't even changed the water in my cloner for three months

Electric cooler for keeping roots cold in DWC?

A 5gal bucket is about as small a DWC you should run, so water volume argument doesn't work here. hydroguard at 3ml per gal is 150ml every 2 weeks. Considering the return and the lack of problems(none) that's pretty fucking cheap. :) just passing on tried and true experience, not asking for...

Thanks nasty. New house, new room, new girlfriend, new me. I have put no real changes into anything because if it ain't broke...... and it's working great. I may go in my rooms every 2nd or 3rd day and barely spend any time in them except for res change and harvest days. The large plants just...
