What & How?

So the time has come to tear down the old space and rebuild a new one. I have a 25 plant count limit.

I have a 10x10 basement bedroom with two windows and 4x 20amp electircal outlets. I also have 4x Tasty T4-2100 cob light fixtures, about 330w each.

I am thinking to go with either an 8x4 flood/drain table or an 8 site rdwc system. Im torn on this one. Looking for opinions.

Im also considering a sealed room with co2, if i can do so without using a/c. I think it might be possible if i set up an exhaust fan on a temp swtich. That might be tricky timing it with the co2. There must be a way to make that work...

If not, no biggie...

Anyway, some concerns about water... i have hard water 250ppms from the tap and chlormine. With true hydro is RO an absolute must or... what?

Also, what about humidty running either a table or an 8 site rdwc? I imagine with all that water i will need a much bigger dehuey. What will i need??

Anyway... looking for a push off the fence... table or rdwc?

This controller will fix the CO2 / temp problems .

You can get it local, I know someone who will bring it in . No customs n shipping etc

250ppm is high.
I would get an RO unit, mine goes into a 50g barrel hooked to a garden hose n pump. With an auto shut off. Very easy setup.

I’m not sure about the A/C . I would rather have it n not need it then need it no not have it .

For the Dehumitifer I’d look into a big one.
100 pint plus . Ive up graded to a Quest Dual 105 .

I was using a Drieaz 1200 which worked good , but the Quest is better .
I know where there is one for $400 deliver to Edmonton.

As for what style , I’d say flood n drain is easier n cheaper setup.
But depends on what u want.

If it was me I’d double it just to be safe .
4x8 x 2
One flood . one rdwc
Set one up with 12 this month , 12 more in 6weeks ish .

Thanks for the tips.

Right now i am using a 18000 btu window a/c unit to cool a 5x9 tent i made but it rarely has to run with the cobs (i used to use 2x1000w HID). I doubt that would work well with co2... and a mini split isnt really an option. So i was thinking i could cool the cobs quite easily with just air exchange... which then poses a problem with co2 timing, i think. I have no co2 experience...

Right now im leaning towards flood and drain... simply because of height restrictions... ill have about 6' 8" of height to work with...
