Does anyone here make their own feminised seeds?

My buddy knew a guy who's monkey jumped onto his girlfriends shoulder and fucked her ear faster than you could blink an eye. Blew it's goo and ran off in less than 30 seconds. They all laughed and the girl friend freaked out...true story. @thelast1 ...maybe take a trip to the zoo...you may make a new pal. Take @Photon Flinger with ya...he's so lonely.

I've recently considered the prospect of auto flower strains given the ability to self pollinate by silver thiosulphate.

It's an attractive idea given there would be no need to worry about light cycle, simply adding in new plants as a set matures.

You can also do 12/12 from seed. Plants will start to mature when they are ready and once they show you can keep them in veg longer by adding an hour to cycle with the least amount of stress.

Good thought, about a decade late tho!

He said autos. You can't keep autos in veg Sgt. Stedenko.
Well that just shows your lack of comprehension in the English language.

He said he 'considered the prospect' and I pointed out another option. 12/12 is obviously something that applies to non-autoflowering plants so it didn't need to be further explained.

But you would know that if you were educated. Or knew how to grow.

Anyhow the message got across even with the interference attempt from the peanut gallery.

There are quite a few boys here on this site who would love to play with you. You're their type !
Maybe theyll come along and say hi! ;)

I want to have a grafted mother with a half dozen varieties on it. That's my end goal. If I can manage an efficient air layering process I think it will speed up my harvest times by taking larger cuts and eliminating several weeks of veg time. I have the room in the veg tent to keep them growing into nice bushes and trimming back as needed.

That might take a while. Just waiting to see if the grafting is successful could be a month or more.

Yea, it's a pet project. The moms are bushy as can be so it wouldn't be too hard to play around until I got it right.
Worst case is having to dedicate 6 plants out of 25 as moms. I'd rather avoid that by any means necessary.

Hardly a newb if he is considering things like grafting.
If he/you were experienced (or he just did a bit of research ffs), he'd know this has been tried (and failed) by many expert growers over the years. Every strain of Cannabis has specific needs, and it was quickly determined that one root mass cannot support the specific nutrient uptakes that each strain requires. One size does not fit all for Cannabis. You both need to do some research.....maybe start with the basics.

Funny.

Yeah it has been done and is possible. Just not commercially viable since grafting requires such a long recovery time and it would be far more efficient to use the other methods.

He said pet project. Same as applying bonsai techniques to plants to improve their aesthetic value.

Thanks so much for setting me straight.

Would you be so kind as to direct me to your reference material? All I seem to be able to find is threads on popular growing sites claiming success with grafting. I'd very much like to see definitive proof and be able to set the record straight on those sites as well.
