The Vault’s Sour Livers Auto Comparative Grow – in association with Mephisto Genetics

I took these a few days ago, days 18 & 12 for SL1 & SL2 respectively.
Both plants seemed to throw out a couple of sets of leaves in the first few days, then spend a week or so establishing roots, and not doing very much at all above ground. Very little change in visible growth over that time. They seemed to have started above ground again and SL1 especially is changing visibly with new growth overnight now, but she is a few days older. Both plants look very compact but that may be due to the led bulbs, I get very little stretch just very bushy plants, which in my sized cabinet is a good thing.
SL1 started to show signs of stress in early life - leaves were crinkling slightly, and looked dry/waxy rather than soft new growth, so I backed the lights away a bit and she seems much happier now. If anything I tend to under water, if I think they are dry I leave it another day, so I am fairly confident it was not an over watering issue. If you think otherwise, please let me know, I am always happy to get advice from more experienced members. No nutes used yet, just plain water with seaweed extract added.
That may have added to the cause of the week of non growth, if so that is down to newbie grower error and nothing to do with the seeds, just me being an idiot.

I try to keep it simple with autos.Put them in bio-biz soil giving pots a good water then pop them in.Usually needs water about 12 to 14 days depends what pot sizes used. The first 2 weeks are a drag!I'm impatient but learned patience is needed growing the weed!).Around 3&half week I start feeding with bio biz grow & add the bloom from 4 weeks onwards.I've been enjoying my new hobby for nearly 3 years now & learned loads from rollit up members & reading loads online.Every days a school say learn something new everyday! GL with your grow m8.

Under 154w of household led bulbs, these usually help me grow squat, bushy plants. Things are certainly changing from a week ago, looking at the comparison pic. Now on days 26 & 20. I always expect to go a few weeks longer than the longest expected grow time with these bulbs.

I LST'd plant 1 for a couple of days to help keep her low but letting her grow a bit again now. She is just starting to give out a slight smell if you brush your hand against her. I love that smell.

Given a 1/4 strength dose of grow nutes for first time the other day, only watering about 1L each every 4 or 5 days at the moment. They are just starting to take more water so hopefully will be moving up to watering entire pot to run off soon.

Hey everyone !!! I have been on the road lately and haven't been able to check in properly, I'm moving back to So Cal from NC and between packing and trying to rent out my house here and find a new place there its been crazy. Anyway you guy's and gal's are doing great but for me this has not been an easy plant for me, my last SL was grown outside (i have never done this before) and got spider mites my wife tried to take care of it for me while i was away but she failed Horribly (ha ha) I am moving in Nov so there is time for one more grow here so here we go.

Another weekly or so update from me. Pictures taken on days 34 for SL1 on the left and 28 for SL2 on the right - the 6 days is really noticeable between them.

Mephisto are right when they say these plants are compact and naturally bushy. Under 154w of household led bulbs they are both compact and bushy as hell, which in my really small cabinet is exactly what I need. SL1 looks like a bowl of lettuce. I was going to LST both plants but there is no need, and they are so compact it is pretty hard anyway. Both plants have exploded with growth since last week.

Now giving them about 2L water each every roughly 3-4 days, last time they both had a full strength veg feed with no ill effect. Both pots are really light so will water today to run off, see how much that takes. Also use seaweed extract every watering.

I've been using a 180 w led.It works great but going to get a 240w as better for flowering period.I read that 180w actually is really a 120w as 60w less for power aspect or something.Looking good.Hope all's well with your move!.
What nutrients are you using, and when do you start feeding them ?

Last pics of the Sour Livers before chop. They turned out really nice under both the 400 watt HPS and under the summit LED. I'm starting a new grow with a geyapex p-6 led that i just received. Its cool, has 6 COB's I am running Skywalker and Heisenberg Special from Mephisto and one cheese auto I got as a freebie I will start a thread tomorrow on that grow i will post the link here if anyone is interested IMG_20170817_170243818.jpg IMG_20170817_170224543.jpg

Great, I do my weekly update directly below @bertaluchi fantastic plants. If mine turn out half as nice as those I will be happy!

Day 41 & 35 for mine. Starting to form buds now, so fed a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom feed last night. Might give SL2 another 50/50 feed next time as she is 6 days behind then start on bloom feed only.
