Welcome To My First Grow!

I've done lots of research up to this point in my grow, I feel it's only necessary to begin a little grow journal. Go ahead and put this on your watch list I think it's going to be a good one.

So I have 2 GSC EXTRM I bought from ILGM they seem to be growing fine other then the mistakes I've made on my own. but I conquered and overcame a few obstacles on my own, but this is also why I'm making this thread. I need help with the rest of the grow, cause it's getting late in veg and I don't anymore mistakes. I've kept them rather small for a while cause I didn't want them to croud the space. I've done my own topping and LST techniques to both plants So please don't laugh if they are funny looking.

Now on to the mistakes I made. At the very beginning I bought the seeds, and put one under 2 very bright florescent lights of the wrong spectrum in shitty soil for the first week of its life it had very slow growthand got burned from being too close. I don't have any pictures of that horrible start, But I will post pictures of the current setup after all this.ANYWAYS. After it had a bad start I ordered some FFOF soil which brought it right back to life. Then I went and order my ph up and down and meter.
I finally had my girl in some good soil and ph'd water. So I bought a Roeladro 45w led and added my second girl they grew great all was perfect in my garden... BUT THEN. I noticed something wasn't right. . There was a hole in my leaf.. Later I found a gnat flying and a little white bug on one of my leafs! So I ordered some neem oil extract and sprayed them yesterday with soap and neem.
I just got my 2 Mars Hydro 300w leds today. So now that I have all y'all up to date I can begin with the now.
Let's Finish This Thing!

LIST OF MY EQUIPMENT & NUTES

2x2 area
x2 300w Mars hydro
x2 4" fans from wal-mart
General Organics Go Box for nutes I followed the box exactly and didn't PH like it says and it fucked my plants up.
x2 5 gallon buckets 1 is full the other is 3 quarters full I didn't mind.
(not enough soil). That's About It. I have 2 300w mars hydro that should arrive on thursday. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

What is the true power draw on the mars 300? That should work out pretty good if they draw about 170 w. each I run a 340 w. 6 cob light my 3x3 tent arrived today I've been running it in a 4x4 room which is a bit much for it

I think you'll be happy people bad mouth the mars & the vipar spectra but I've seen some pretty nice grows using the blurple I have a friend using 2 of the large vipars it's his first grow using them & he's rockin it
Thanks man I hope so. They seem to love them. They use to be under a 45w blurple.

you're doing the best thing by going for it just don't overfeed/water or get the leds too close & let-er-buck the go box works in soil but I didn't like it for e&f coco ,soil & organics gives better flavor than hydro in my opinion

Can Someone give some tips for these Problems? I've sprayed neem two days ago Idk how long it takes for it to take full effect but I wanted to flip them soon and I don't want anything wrong with them when I do. I feel like twisting came from my general organics go box it said not to ph so I didn't and its bad. The feeding seemed to be fine but the no PHing twisted the leaves. :wall::cry:

I don't think neem will help that get your ph to about 6.5 & use the cal-mag that comes in your box if you've already done that wait a bit your color at this point looks good I know they say don't ph the g.o. nutes but I ph everything

How close is your light? Leaf twisting like that can be heat related.

Unusual to have a PH problem in soil as soil buffers very well.

Well I used the neem cause I've seen gnats and holes in my leafs but I dried my soil and killed the adults. haven't seen anymore. But still see leaf damage. The leaf twisting is my biggest concern atm

I also flushed with ph 6.2 water after I noticed the twisting about 5 days back

It's only one plant also with the twisting my other plant seemed to take the first feed fine. The other just didn't like it at all.

doors open for today. ill get my portable ac unit. Tomorrow. The twisting was there before I got my new lights when it was under my 45w panel.
the twisting might be unique to that strain when my plant got too close the leaves turned like a canoe
