I'd like to try organics... I think it was you that pointed me jahs way. I'm gonna get some bohdi gear hear in the near future. Contimplating an amended soil set up straight up water. And get my coco pots on auto water...screw all this hand watering
I'm doing an outdoor guerilla grow this year. Running 1/4 mile of tubing to drip lines for 4 plants. Go once a week hook a dc pump up and let it run for an hour.

Never have to go to it except a couple time to check it or stake them.

Nice...buddy of mine spoke once of tree top growing....that would be cool.

They have these viney ass bushes around here that could easily block a person view from the ground up
I used to grow on south facing hills covered in honey suckle and black berries. I would then install a drip ring and then run a water line up the hill. Let them blend in.

I've no shit been standing with in 15 foot of my plants and think they were gone.

Nope. Flushing is for toilets and a myth. The actual term is leeching and all it does is remove salt buildup from the soil.

The nutes are not sucked up and stored like that. They are used and converted. Some are mobile and some immobile. They can't be removed. How can you flush something that your plant became?
.
No.

I prefer a balanced feed all the way through. I personally think high p and k feeds and boosters are hog wash. So are cannabis specific nutrients.

Keep the plant happy and healthy and everything else follows.
My father's a forester and he says the same thing.

If you water right you don't need to. If you are having to leech salts you are over feeding.

Mix the nutes lighter and water until good run off and it won't be a problem.

How does it do that? It doesn't work like that. First the immobile nutrients won't move. The mobile nutrients move from the yellowing leaves to the new growth (bud) that you smoke.
Plants use energy that energy is is light and nutrients which are converted into energy through photosynthesis like fire and wood take away the wood and the fire goes out same with a plant take away the nutrients and the plant dies. They have reserve nutrients stored in the plant tissue ,( you can tell that they do that by over fertilizing a plant with N and watch it turn dark green that dark green is stored N) "flushing" just makes them use that stored energy.

That's not how it works man. I don't care what you say. It just moves the nutrients from the yellowing leaves to the green bud you are smoking. That's why its called a mobile nutrient. It just doesn't work that way. You cant remove or use up what you put in the plant.

I looked for articles about "flushing" in commercial crops. It doesn't happen. They LEECH their MEDIUM regularly in commercial HYDROPONIC grows, sometimes multiple times a week, to remove built up nutrients in the MEDIUM.

If you're needing to leech excess nutrients out of your SOIL, other than normal watering runoff, your running too strong of nutrients. Run weaker nutes with more frequent feedings. Honestly, you shouldn't need much nutes in a well blended soil mix.

Flushing is still relevant in coco...clean out salt build several times during the grow to prevent lock out....that is if you daily feeding dtw.....ever 4-6 weeks run pH water with that cannazyme + Lil calmag. your at 6 week from flip and look like you polly got some time left 4+ wks. Would hurt to flush.

I do support not messing with leaves though.
thanks , I only flushed once when I transplanted them a day before 12/12 . my run off ppm is always around the same as I put it in mostly just under though I water at 600ppm and get 5 or 600 back out and the ph has always been high , I put 5.9 ph in and get like 7/8 ph out, it always has done this but I had to ignore it and they are fine , they oviously would not be doing good if the actual ph was always 7/8 , no uptake from what I have learned ?, 4 weeks left as you say seems like a long time I have had them in 12/12 for 47 days now and they are getting slight brown hairs lots of trichoms and swelling up , I really need them done in around 10 /14 days .

They are done then they are done. Get a jeweler's loop and watch the trics. These breeders say x amount of weeks and as Ive been told this is started from the end of stretch. So add 2-4 weeks at least to your 8wk or what ever the packs say.

@Dylanfurlong sorry for getting off track. Any time someone ask about flushing it breaks out into an argument. Lol.
that's ok thank you for the experienced info really appreciated , I suppose when I say flush i really mean do i give them nothing but ph 6 water for the last couple weeks not the usuall drownding flush with tons of water lol , i have not needed to flush once in my whole grow although i did at transplant , my coco 60/40 hydro runoff has never risen high on ppm , but ph has always been high coming out but 5.9 /6 goin in , i just don't want my buds to taste bad tbh, they are swelling like crazy today and as my lights are mixed hps and led the ones under l.e.d are fully white bud and there not the widow ones , the led seems to be making them solid aswell but not as bulky as hps , sorry for goin on but thank you again :)

If you are worried about taste then you need to worry about a proper cure ;)

To be fully mature and not all racey you'll probably have to go 10wks or more lol sry for good smoke that is. 6wks trics are not even really of that much concern considering how much more swelling and stacking it will do. You will have to watch and wait and see what it does to understand what people mean by swell and stack.
